Well I am not going to be able to get much work done for a few days. Not with preprations for this "Hurricane Florence," which will really settle into a mild Tropical Storm set to cover South Carolina and not my neck of the woods. We might lose power, though thanks to DUKE Energy and their need to play with wires that are not damaged. Anything I guess for a tax benefit.

In the mean time I wanted to leave those that could read my journals with this thought to carry them over the weekend.

Warner Bros. has moved a lot of their commercialized material to ABU DHABI!?

I am a DREAM WEAVER and lover of comics, adventure stories, pulp fiction,crime novels,  (Especially those in which the good guy catches his man.) Marvel, DC, and any other variety of UNDERGROUND matieral may have crossed my desk and received the approval that is deserving to the creative process.

A part of me has always held the fundamental belief that stories like the one's I produce, "Black Amethyst,"  ( https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/AVplusME ) "Thief of Void and the Dream Weaver," (https://avproductionsblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/23/illustrated-shorts-explained/ ) "Moonlite Ride," (https://www.deviantart.com/adventvoice/art/LLMR-page2-754304083 ) "Catching Charlie Rocket and the Case of the Dream Theif," (https://avproductionsblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/01/they-have-called-me-a-degenerate/ ) and all the numerous stories published on www.avproductionsblog.wordpress.com (https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/adventvoice/black-amethyst ) or the numerous stories developed by the American writers I grew up appreciationg Chester Gould, Charles Martin "Chuck,' Jones, Aline Kominsky-Crumb,Stan Lee, Lee Jim,Erik Larsen,Ken Navarro, (Who did not like Happy Tree Freinds?!)  EdPiskor,  Michael Christopher "Mike" Diana, that if anyone was going to spend 1 billion dollars to develope two resort parks celebrating the franchise, they would have done so in America, where such tales always had the most signifigance.

Then again with  rising stars of creaton like G.Willow Wilson the stories were always to be reported as "globally," accepted.

In truth I have not considered the overall acceptance of my own material or wieghed it against classically accepted stories. I am certainly glad for it too. Though the world views these relics of liturature as something to be honored, I am sure we can make room for the "on the verge artist."

While the UAE begins to capitalize on where the Americna left off I wonder what is store for the future of Contemporary and Modern sequental artistic storytelling?
