This is soo awesome. I always find your pieces to be right on point.
I was just thinking about that volcano the other day and now I find you have immortalized a historic moment and captured the best part of the idea.

Most people would have just drawn a volcano ...which makes for a lot of brown's and dark hues that get boring to look at...but the idea of flames and lava engulfing that island in less than 30 mins is amazing. Sad, but amazing, none-the-less..

A lot of epic things have happened this year.
Man surfs on a 80 ft wave, Volcano blows and keeps on going. I think Australia was hit by an 80 ft wave too...I personally think it is from the volcano but no one has verified that for me yet.

Thanks! It's hard to admit we sometimes can find beauty in destruction, and I hope it's not offensive to anyone in Hawaii.
I suppose it's like how when a hurricane hits you and you go outside during the eye of the storm, it's calm and breezy and relaxing for just a moment before chaos ensues again.
I've survived more than one hurricane.

Great over all technique.

Wow this piece is going to be sensational.

Your art is an inspiration to us all!

I want a light under my umbrella. Where can I get one?

Very interesting tags. What is the story of the Prince that was a Wolf of Bats?
I only ask because my tags for the "Art of War" are very similar and I was wondering if we were thinking on the same lines, or if your fairy tales come from a far off country I have not been to yet?

I don't know why but when I view I this piece I am made to remember my father from when I was a child.
I presented this amazing piece of art. (By the way I really do enjoy this one, a lot. It reminds me of my child hood.)
Anyway I present this amazing piece of art, using techniques no one taught me, I just learned through patience and perseverance. I did not need a how to draw book for the things in my mind or for my dreams. I just drew it and loved it enough to share and he asks me if I am high. I was pissed, much like this guy looks to be.
I never understood why he asked me that. I did not smoke at the time. There is no reference even in this piece of an association with drugs. I just see an open door into someone's mind. A spooky mind but an exciting one. Where a man in slippers might kick my ass if I ask him if he is high.

Ain't that the truth. My mother, my last girlfriend, Wow you drew them both in one stroke.
Who was the model you chose to use that pose?

Would you seem stars into your wedding dress on that special day?

Troisnyx responds:

I don't know. Perhaps I'd go for something simple -- I don't have a hand for embroidery, at least not yet -- but I'd always see Mary's mantle as tinted blue, with stars, even with the eyes of my soul. On that special day, if such a vision should fill me, I'll at least do my best to share it with Seán.

On the boards of illustrations this post beat my John 316 post out of the water. Great work!

I am an artists who always seeks to give you a piece of material that makes your heart beat like a speaker!
